This policy explains what personal data SABO CARS collects when you use this website, why we collect it and what rights you have.
Who we are
SABO CARS sells cars through this website and is responsible for the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at the details below or through our Contact page.
What data we collect
- Messages you send us: your name, email address, phone number (optional), the VIN of the car you ask about (optional), your message, the language you used and the date.
- Account details, if you create an account: your name, email address, phone number (optional) and password, which we only store in encrypted form.
- Settings saved in your browser: your chosen language and your cookie choice.
- A login cookie that keeps you logged in, if you log in.
We do not use analytics or advertising trackers, and we do not build profiles of visitors.
Why we use your data
- To answer your questions and handle your requests to buy a car.
- To keep the website working and secure, for example to keep you logged in and to block repeated failed logins.
- To meet our legal obligations, for example accounting and tax rules when you buy a car.
Legal basis
Where data protection laws such as the GDPR apply, we process your data because you asked us to (for example by sending a message or asking to buy a car), because it is necessary for our legitimate interest in running a secure website, because the law requires it, or — for fonts loaded from Google — because you consented.
How long we keep it
We keep messages for as long as we need them to deal with your request, and then delete them. If you buy a car, we keep the records the law requires. Login sessions end when you log out or close your browser, or after at most 7 days if you choose “Keep me logged in”.
Who we share it with
- Our hosting provider, which stores the website and its data on our behalf.
- Google, only if you accept external fonts: your browser then loads fonts from Google’s servers, which receive your IP address.
- Public authorities, when the law requires it.
We never sell your personal data.
International transfers
Google may process data outside your country. Where required, such transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask us to:
- Tell you what data we hold about you and give you a copy.
- Correct data that is wrong.
- Delete your data.
- Stop or limit how we use your data.
You can withdraw your consent to external fonts at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Security
We protect your data with secure connections (HTTPS), store passwords only in encrypted form and limit access to authorised staff.
Children
Our website is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
